Alexandra McGonigle broke the National Long Course Record for 50m Breaststroke with a time of 33,44 on the 18th May 2018 during the 50th CIJ Swimming Meet held in Luxembourg. The previous record of 33,46 was held by Amy Micallef and was achieved in Budapest in July 2017.
