During the 4th Age Group Swimming Meet held at the National Swimming Pool, Tal-Qroqq on Saturday 2nd February 2019, Dylan Cachia established the National Record for 800m Freestyle with a time of 08:43,44. The previous record of 08:49,44 was held by Neil Agius since February 2009 and was achieved in Gzira.
